LESS THAN TRUCKLOAD (LTL) SERVICES
We have access to all the reputable LTL carriers across North America. The advantage of LTL is getting the right amount of product to the customer at a lower cost.
LTL carriers typically deliver shipments between 8 am and noon. Pickups start once their runs are complete.
Providing a pickup window the day before or the morning of the pickup allows the carrier to plan your order. An important tip is to provide accurate measurements of the skids, boxes or other parameters of the shipment. Precise measurements result in an accurate quotes and helps dispatchers pre-plan for space on each trailer. We are always here to help if you are not familiar with LTL – Reach out, we encourage it.
FULL TRUCK LOAD SERVICES (FTL)
Typically, carriers have a wide range of trailers at their disposal. 40’ft, 48’ft or 53’ft trailers can help you maximize your capacity. Depending on the transit required or the total space/weight of the shipment at times, FTL is a faster option for you.
Unlike LTL, Full truck loads usually do not transfer at hubs. You might hear the term hook and pin while dealing with long-distance transportation. This occurs when a driver drops off a trailer and allows a different driver to complete the delivery. FTL services are for specialized shipments that are difficult to deal with while cross-docking between terminals. Dedicated Freight or Expedited, contact us if you need help maximizing loads.
FLEXIBILITY

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
We have partnerships with many carriers that are hazardous certified to transport hazardous materials/goods. We always make sure that our carriers are provided with the necessary documentation to establish a safe routing. Appropriate documentation stays with the shipments from pickup to delivery. In the event of a spill or accident, we notify all parties and make sure that the correct procedures are followed.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Weather is an important factor during transportation. Seasonal temperatures can harm and/or damage certain goods. Temperature requirements can be requested to keep all goods protect from freeze, fresh, frozen and/or ambient throughout the transportation process.

CONTAINER WORK
Transportation between ports or railyards continues to be a growing concern in our industry. The MX Logistics team recognized this concern and constructed a unique and custom-geared container solution. We have experience moving B-Trains, single 20’ft, 40’ft and even 53’ft containers to the rail yard. Our partners are certified to pick up and/or deliver your goods to any port upon request.
WAREHOUSING, PICK AND PACK, CONTAINER DESTUFFING
Do you need additional storage space for your short term and/or long-term storage needs? We can assist you with a variety of warehousing needs, including optional temperature controlled storage.
